In 2011, many new gaming, communication, and transportation machine/devices will be gaining and losing popularity. Also, there might be yet another way to purchase merchandise. First, there is the electric car, which according to ABI research will most likely remain unused. This is because of the fear of driving too far away from a charging station and not being able to make it back home. Also, The radio and air conditioning can shorten battery life. Lastly, it is expensive from the beginning, and since it is new, auto dealers will mark the price up very much.
2011 will be a major year in the gaming world because each popular gaming companies are stepping it up a notch. Nintendo is coming out with the Nintendo 3Ds, a 3D version of the Nintendo DSi and possibly a new Wii! Sony has put in their part by coming out with the Playstation Move, and topping it off, the Kinect by Xbox.
When it comes to phones, the Apple iPhone and Android-based phones are leading. The sole reason the Android-based phones might be better is that the iPhone is flawed in security terms and cannot support some of the behind-the-firewall apps that are seen on the RIM platform.
Lastly, Mankind has used many items as money. We have also used credit and debit cards to substitute for our money. Now, some phone can accomplish many jobs with the help of applications. Guess what? Now, in 2011, we will be able to pay with our phones.
